In today’s Daily Dose we talk about the inevitable conversation this country will have regarding the regulating of weapons whose sole purpose is to kill large numbers of people and how Second Amendment supporters can either embrace it or lead it, but cannot avoid it. America has seen too much carnage for too long. Pretty soon enough Americans are going to demand something be done for something to be done, whether we like it or not.
Today’s Thought for the Day comes from the old Dragnet television show. Bill Gannon took Joe Friday to a prayer breakfast where the chaplain opened talking about one of life’s great prizes being the opportunity to work hard at work worth doing. This is very true. A good life is not meant to be watched, it is meant to be experienced.
