The Sunday Bottom 5
A ranking of some things.
1. Donald Trump – Former president now owes well over $400 million in civil penalties following latest courtroom setback…Up next: the first of four exciting criminal trials!!!…SB 5 pollsters “pretty sure’ Trump – the presumptive GOP presidential nominee – still believes moon is part of Mars and that Colorado needs fence to secure its border with Mexico.
2. Gaylon For Congress – Hack third-party candidate determined to give voters another opportunity to just say no to candidacy…Known, at least to himself, as the Peace Candidate, Kent hoping anti-war stance takes hold in country that has been at war daily since 1989…Click here to show you care.
3. Mass Shootings – The 3-hole staple…Nine (9) shootings with at least four (4) wounded this week, a tad off of 2023 average, but twelve (12) dead, 49 (49) injured still nothing to sneeze at…As usual, America deafly silent on matter, as only nation on planet where mass shootings regularly occur prefers status quo to actually doing anything about it.
4. Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl Rally – Early candidate for Mass Shooting of the Year, one (1) dead and 22 in shooting at rally held to celebrate Chiefs’ latest Super Bowl title.
5. Fake News– Click here for crap some of the wizards around us were actually believing this week…Courtesy of the AP.

Extra, extra, read all about it.
In 1930 – Elm Farm Ollie becomes the first cow to fly in an airplane at the International Air Exposition in St Louis. The flight, service from Bismarck, Missouri to St Louis, covered 72 miles, and on the flight, Ollie also became the first cow to be milked in flight, producing 24 quarts of milk. She was milked by one Elsworth Bunce of Wisconsin and her milk was, for reasons History has chosen to keep silent on, put in cartons and parachuted to earth.
In 1986 – Alvin Robertson of the San Antonio Spurs becomes the second NBA player to register a quadruple-double in one game in a 120-114 win over the Phoenix Suns. Robertson had 20 points, 11 rebounds, 10 assists, and 10 steals, matching the feat first done by Nate Thurmond in 1974. The feat has since been accomplished by Hakeem Olajuwon in 1990 and David Robinson in 1994.
In 1995 – TLC is at #1 on Billboard’s Hot 100 for the fourth and final consecutive week with Creep. It was the fifth Top 40 hit for the group, their fourth of nine Top hits, and their first of four #1s. The song also peaked at #22 in Great Britain, spent nine weeks at #1 on Billboard’s soul chart, was Billboard’s 3rd-biggest song of the year, its #1 soul song of the year, and was the 21st-biggest song of the decade.
