Friends, Read Free Week is winding down. In fact, tragically, it will only last through Sunday. After that, the features you have come to know and love like The Diary of a Nobody and The Bottom Ten will require a subscription to read. This crap, and The Thought for the Day, will remain free.
And there will still be opportunities to purchase an LOL/Lifetime of Laffs subscription but not at the insanely low $24.99 price.
So act now! With an LOL/Lifetime of Laffs subscription, there will be no more lapsed subscriptions or those annoying recurring payments. Only a lifetime of Gaylon, forever access to The Diary of a Nobody and The Bottom Ten, plus my books, including the forthcoming classic – I checked, it’s official – Criminals, Courtesans and Constables in early 2019. In fact, LOL subscribers will get to read it first and good luck topping that. Seriously.
Get your LOL/Lifetime of Laffs subscription today, before the Sales Department comes to their senses and starts charging more. Click here to sign up.

In 1909 – Bill O’Hara of the New York Giants establishes one of the major league record book’s more curious records, becoming the first pinch-runner to steal two bases in one inning. Running for pitcher Bugs Raymond in the sixth inning, O’Hara stole second and third base and later scored as Giants got three runs to extend their lead to 9-3. The Cardinals would get three late runs, but the Giants held on to win 9-6. The record has been tied many times.
In 2018 – Meant To Be by Bebe Rexha and Florida Georgia Line top the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart for the 39th consecutive week. It debuted at #1 on December 16, 2017 and is now the biggest country song of all-time, spending more weeks at #1 than any song not only on the country chart, but more weeks at #1 ever on any Billboard singles chart. It peaked at #2 on the Billboard Hot 100.
